What We Learned

- Intercultural collaboration fuels creativity: Working across time zones, cultures, and languages encourages students to co-create projects with real-world relevance. This diverse setting adds a unique and engaging dimension to the experience.
- Confidence grows through sharing: Presenting to an international audience helps students strengthen their communication skills, learn from each other, and feel heard. It also motivates them to continue developing their ideas into real-world projects with impact.
Several teams are now working on the next steps—refining their concepts and preparing to publish on the student project website dontwastemy.energy. This phase supports media and web publishing skills, while making their work visible and impactful beyond the classroom.
A heartfelt thank you to all teams, mentors, and supporters who made this second conference a success. Your passion, ideas, and openness to collaboration continue to shape what The Horse stands for.
We can’t wait to see what the next generation of global changemakers will make!
